I specifically called out the 2.5 TDI since its bellhousing matches the transmissions that bolt right up to the EVs. I suppose a complete 1.9 TDI engine/transmission from a transverse Golf/Jetta/NB could also be fitted, but I don't know if the gear ratios would be a good fit for a big heavy brick.
