I had a mouse problem in the house once. I set out 4 traps and caught at
least 3 every night for about a week. And my (Vanagon) point is - you never
have just one!!!!

One morning I had one caught only by his tail. He was alive - he'd run in
place a while, rest a while, run in place... So I got the bright idea that I
would drown him in the sink. I released him from the trap into the sink. He
ran around the sink twice then ducked into the hole in the center, so I
turned on the water and hit the switch..... "The end" wasn't exactly planned
this way.

something about the scent of original Irish Spring bar soap repels them also
- with a longer,more practicle service life than dryer sheets (which do
work)

I have great success with dryer sheets in all the cabinets and battery
compartments.....the clean smell seems to drive them off.
