Subject:      Headlight Turn Signal wiring weirdness

I'm finding the Bentley wiring diagram confusing, hoping someone may have
some suggestions to my problem.






Symptoms:  When I put the emergency flashers on, only the right side of the
van flashes, nothing on the drivers side.






When I have the headlights On, the left turn signal won't flash and both the
running red light and the amber light is on at the rear on the left side.






With headlights Off both turn signals work and you wouldn't even know you
have a problem.






When I got my meter out, I was getting 12volts to both terminals 1 and 6 of
rear lens assembly, should only be power to terminal 6.






The van is a 1987 Westy...I hope I'm making myself clear. Still scratching
my head on this one.
