Subject: Headlight Turn signal weirdness
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

After reading some of your suggestions I headed to the garage this morning to tackle the insanity. After pulling flasher relays and emergency flasher switches, I finally pulled the bulb out of the front left turn signal socket and guess what, the left rear taillight now has only the red light on when headlights on, no more dual lights (amber and red light).

I started to focus on the front left signal wiring and after a couple of tries got all signals working and no dual lights at rear.

Now it's time to try the emergency flashers.....guess what, no left side flashers only right side. Back to more wire checking of both front turn signal lights.....to make a long story short final solution was incorrect wiring on the left front turn signal and 1 incorrect wire on front right turn signal.

How did this ever work? And how did this get so screwed up.....anyway now it's time for a nice cold beverage.

Thanks to all of you for your advice. But I still can't understand that Bentley Wiring diagram......it's really starting to bug me.

Cheers,

John
