No. Straight from ignition sw. 50 terminal to control terminal on the starter. Probably a connector or two in between, but nothing else.

Use a clip lead or mechanic's remote starter switch from the spare spade terminal on forward end of starter (reachable by putting your left hand through the gap over the bellhousing, then groping forward and to the right) to the big B+ stud on the alternator to see if the starter is working ok. Before you do that though, make sure the wire from the front hasn't come unplugged from the other spade terminal. If it has, go back to the cab and try the key again.

Unplug the harness from the ignition switch and jumper from its 30 terminal to 50 terminal with a paper clip. If that works but the key doesn't, the switch is your culprit. You can then get a switch, stick it into the harness to operate with a screwdriver, and actually install at your convenience.

Steering column cover is two #2 Phillips from below, and a spring clip around the lower column that just pulls off.
