Subject: Re: Good fuel filter arrangement?

My 84 never had a small filter in front of the fuel pump, just the large round one after the fuel pump. I have not had any problems with this set up in 280,000 miles. The original fuel never did fail I gave it to my Dad and he installed it on a wood splitter it still works as well. So I guess the fuel pumps are pretty tough.
