The same thing they do at home when they need to remove their dishwasher!

I don't use elephant bark, but a similar cut-to-fit rubber flooring. When removing my fridge over the weekend, I was reminded of the need for a removable floor. What do people do who put down hardwood, etc. when the time comes to remove the fridge cabinet? Things don't slide around either (i.e., PortaPotty). No need to glue it down, just cut to fit floor. I love it! Stuart

We've been slowly fixing the many things that need fixing, with much assistance from this list. One thing I can't figure out or find a solution to is this: the p.o stored the van in a valley that gets extremely hot in the summer -- as a result, a lot of the interior moldings have shrunk- some by several inches. I've managed to heat gun most of these back to their original length, but now there's the rubber floor in the kitchen area to contend with - it has pulled away from the floor and away from one edge by a few inches. I'd like to stretch it back and glue it back down. So, any thoughts on how to stretch it back? Also, I was hoping to do this in situ, but if necessary, I'd pull it up (the glue is kinda loose anyway, and rubber is bubbling in a few spots) - do I need to pull the cabinet/rear seat, since it extends beneath these? Thanks in advance, paul = |
