Well you've got one sitting there and I haven't. I must have been thinking of the gauge sender. On the 2.1l non-Syncro the thermostat housing is right up forward; the two senders look identical and mount identically into the housing with a fat O-ring and a spring clip retainer. The gauge sender looks forward and the T-II looks to the left.
