Especially for fans of obscure VW OEM internal factory repair
literature..... here is a treat of the week!

The link I just gave is the factory's "further-reading" or detailed
instructions for the VW OEM instruction page emphasizing the
importance of spraying wax into the rear trailing arms of Vanagon to
preserve them from rusting.

The document also relates to the page that emphasizes the same thing
for some of the front lower control arms. It was released in North
America to Volkswagen Dealers.

I put this up just in time for you to start thinking about the coming
winter and salt season.

Note that this document is meant to be *appended* to the Bentley page
about the wax preservation for the Vanagon rear trailing arms (and
pre-mid-88 syncro front lower control arms), but it does not show the
Vanagon parts explicitly on its own. Nevertheless, the Vanagon
instructions reference this document.
