right .. you remove them and then put them back on gently ..so they are easy to pull when you run the engine and pull one at a time.

if they are resistant to being removed...........you don't want to be working hard to accomplish that with the engine running. get them loose, put them back on 'not that hard' ..then run engine, pull one plug wire at a time. that's only logical and practical right ?
