You don't have to leave your site, carry solar panels, a generator or run the engine etc. But if you really want cold drinks and brew there is nothing like a cooler filled with ice! Of course I really like my other food stuffs staying dry.

Yeah, but with a propane fridge you don't have to leave your remote site for a while to go get ice....
