Yup.

I always use at least two supports under any vehicle I work on. Like a jack stand + solid chunks of wood or "solid" ~ 14" x 4.75" x 10" W pieces I made out of 4"x4" with 3/4" plywood fastened on top. + wheel chocks of course.
