That refrigerator uses 900 btu/hr on maximum setting, it says. A 16.4 oz bottle of propane provides 10,000 btu so the unit would drain a bottle in 11 hours. That's not so good.

Also on the Not So Good list: 75 lbs empty. Oh my aching back. A-and it's charcoal gray. When in camp we set our cooler outside the van, and "outside" has a lot of sun which we have to insulate against. My ideal outside cooler would be shiny chrome to reflect sun--charcoal gray is second only to matte black to absorb heat.

Nope, these aren't the droids...I mean this isn't the technology we're looking for.
