I even hate that with the Coleman Stove I have.  I have a pop-top "Weekender", one nice aspect about the electric fridge is not having to add a propane tank.However, since most of my trips are short and not remote, I'll use block ice (self made or bought) in a Coleman 5-day cooler. I put a sleeping bag around the cooler during the day. Keep it in the shade if bear or raccoons are not a problem.just did 5 days in the 90's, and while I restock with bagged ice on day 5, most of the containers from home still had ice in them 9 days later (the last 2 days the cooler was not open however.
