YUP. Just getting it as clean as was necessary for the tape to apply well seemed like enough anality for this cowboy. ;-) Really does do the trick, too. Everyone who has rolled the door the first time is surprised at how much difference it makes. Two different camping trips since I did this so as silly as it sounds (ya, that's a play on word), the slider has gotten about quadruple-duty time due to the number of "testers".

As far as durability goes, that area gets exposed to off road dirt/dust so much that the results so far seem to indicate that it's going to have a long duty-life.
