A good friend of mine just bought a Ford 350 Turbo Diesel, going to be hauling a 5th wheel with it. I was looking at that truck the other day, my gawd what a monster! I'm tall but would still need a step stool just to get up and work in the engine compartment. But I can't see how you could! So damn much 'stuff' in that engine compartment. But the cab is like a luxury car, all the bells and whistles. And yet, when not hauling the 5th wheel, he gets about the same mileage I do in Starwagen. Hmm, how do I transplant most of my Westy into the bed of that monster? 4wd to boot and plenty of clearance. Oh well, back to getting ready to head to Hells Canyon and then to the WetWesties annual Reunion at Catherine Creek.
