That reminds me.

A properly sized wood frame resting on the deck, and a winch, can also to
the same job. IMO it might be easier to work around than a saw horse type
setup, but certainly people have successfully used the saw horse type hoist.

I used this set up to do my engine swap.

This is an image of the one I built. I altered it somewhat, but it should
shed some light. Much thanks to Zoltan for this idea.
