Trouble with 150+feel (leaving aside accuracy) is you might be spending a torque wrench. Of course you can use a scaling adapter with a 150 lb-ft wrench, or use a beam-type and extend the scale proportionately - if the pointer returns to zero then you didn't bend the wrench. If the driver shears off then you'll probably bang your hand into something you didn't want to, but at only a 1/3 overload I don't think that's very likely. Yrs, d |
