I use the LED's in the shop, and carry one in each vehicle. But in camp
- I prefer the yellow glow of a kerosene lamp or none at all. Actually,
if you give your eyes time to adjust, and don't turn on a white light,
when you step out of the van for nightly duties, the night-glow from the
universe is enough to see by - unless it is totally overcast and/or a
"dark and stormy night". If/when rustic camping out in the boonies - you
can get feeling of the ancients.
