also, if your hose just randomly exploded, you may want to buy a replacement blue cap for the coolant expansion. i suspect i 'upgraded' many parts of my cooling system (as they took turns exploding) thanks to a bad cap. (i may have a head gasket leak, but if i do it is not a major one).
