I'd keep looking for a transport company, a small one. There are guys with dually pickups and three car trailers that run most anywhere. They often use brokers but also work directly. Lots of folks move and ship cars this way. I've had a non-running car shipped from San Antonio to Seattle this way in the past, and it was reasonable.

I'm trying to have Bostig install the Zetec. Transport companies are telling me that the route from Huntsville AL to the MA shop is unusual and hence there has been a delay in pickup. Pickup is up in the air. No idea when it may occur.

Is there a mechanic elsewhere that I can transport the Vanagon to that can install the Zetec? Preferably close to Huntsville.
