I have tried many pads over the years and despite the somewhat higher cost I really prefer the PBR for the Vanagon. After they seat they work really well and give very good life. My next choice would be OEM but they dust real bad.

Hi all.

Debating over PBR Metal Masters (or whatever they call them now) or TRW pads.

The TRW *may* have the "Cotec" coating (see below). I have to wonder if the Cotec burns off during bedding in or gets impregnated into the rotor metal?

Anyone used the TRW semi metallic pads? If so, any opinions on stopping power?

I don't care about dusting or noise levels. Just want a pad that offers good stopping power and as little fade as possible during normal use (i.e. not riding brakes etc.)
