I found a mud type bee nest (I think) in one of my flues. Turned it upside down blew some air in and got it all out. I use the cat dish a lot more now.

Last time I had to pull fridge, due to propane hassle, I discovered that the 12 volt element was loose in its pipe. I fixed that, but haven't bothered to check to see whether it works any better, because I'm one of those folks who are addicted to propane while running or mains power inside the carport.

2 out of 3 is a winner, in my book, and I wouldn't bother to pull a fridge unless something's seriously wrong or you're masochistic.

If you do decide pull the fridge, you'll be amazed at the sheer volume of schmutz that you'll find inside the cabinet.
