What a bunch of idiots, and poor writing as well. Where is this located? Geez, the Bostig kit for A/T is over $6k, plus $500+ in parts from Rock Auto, and then you have to get the engine. . . I figure I'd be into it $10,000 by the time I was done.

Stuart '85 Westy w/o Bostig, and I paid $7500 for it

Zetec conversion is what, $5-5,500.00? If it was done well, thats like getting the van for $2,000.00. Another $400.00 and a weekend and the canvas is done. And where does the author get the idea an automatic is slower? My '85 pop top Weekender with auto and stock 1,9 is pretty peppy, and it climbs grades better than my 2 previous 4 speed Westys.
