I came very close to going with a Bostig/Zetec but a long time friend and bus expert convinced me to go with a Vanaru conversion. We simply love it. I had it in to the local VW shop and the mechanic commented that he couldn't help me at all on the Subaru side of things, but, the install was the best he'd ever seen come through his shop. Vanaru does great work!

Lots of power, no loss of clearance, and a thoroughly modern engine from a wrecker we secured a 2.5l from a 2008 Impreza that had 12k miles on it. Had my friend do the work (he'd done a couple before) and it came in less than a relatively local shop had quoted on doing the Zetec, and that included a number of extras like a new radiator.

Just my $.02.

Cheers, eh!

Barry
