Mine was when my current client told me that the doors he'd ordered
weren't coming in until Monday. So I stuffed all my tools back in the van
and went home, dumped all those into my shop and put all my windsurfing
gear inside, instead of those dusty old tools. I didn't even have to take
out the bicycle gear....Out came the table saw, the compressor, a couple of
saw horses, a chop saw table, tool boxes, levels clamps, etc etc. In went
two sailboards, 5 sails, two masts, two booms, wetsuits, etc. Off I went
with a huge tailwind, heading east up the Columbia River to my favorite
"beach" about 60 miles east. A couple of sessions in perfect 40mph
winds...a nice lunch cooked in the kitchen, a short nap in back...and a
noisy trip back 'upwind' into the 40+ mph gusts made for an almost perfect
day.
