So forget my comment about dust protection! We all have our problems to deal with.

Down here in AZ, the fine dust fr our summer dust storms filters through the fabric and acts like jewelers rouge; as the covers shift in the wind, the paint gets polished right off. You gotta take the covers off every few weeks, shake the dust out of them, and at least wipe the car.

It's an average of 45 degrees here with 80% to 100% humidity in the winter. Covers are intended to protect from sun damage and dust, neither of which are a problem here.

If you can suspend a tarp over it to keep the rain off, that will help too, since air circulation is key. If you don’t drive it, get a battery charger that is designed to keep the battery charged in storage.

Can anyone please share any experience they have had? I don't have a garage and I mainly want to protect from the wet/moldy Portland winters.
