I was being a little bit sarcastic. For the performance minded some longevity is often given up. However there are different theories as to the value of valve rotation and most engines do not do it including the VW in line 4 engines. I had a bad experience with burned valves in an air-cooled '76 bus back in the day and the root cause I was given was that the valve wasn't spinning on its seat. Not true? Tom |
