I have had a lot of trouble finding a female 1 3/4" acme thread fitting or adapter. Do show your setup and let us know if you have a source for that adapter.

Mike, As you suspected, I'm not trying to fill the westy tank with liquid propane, just basically let the gas flow through it or fill it with propane gas at the pressure of my external tank.
