I found a round cushion...I think it comes from a medical supply, as a back support or something. Its about 4" in diameter and about 12" long, foam rubber with a zip on cover, round... I put that under my gas pedal leg sometimes on long drives and it keep me comfortable by supporting my leg. I also use it behind the small of my back sometimes, to keep that from hurting after a 14+hr drive.... That is a really simple aid to comfort when you do a marathon driving session like I sometimes do when I have a destination and a limited time to get there.
