Mine was putting in an offer to buy the house next door to the house I'm
currently renting,it will be a nice to have a garage for Velma rather than
hiding her under the a tree to protect her from the elements but being
abused by the birds!!

I regularly wear socks with sandals in cold weather.  There is nothing more
comfortable (or in the minds of certain colleagues I had for years
anti-establishment) than a good pair of heavy wool socks with Birkenstocks
on a really cold day.  The only shoes I ever wear any more are
Birkenstocks, sneakers, hiking boots, warm house shoes.  The occasion
warrants a tie (which I will don under certain circumstances)?  Nice dark
silk socks go fine with Birkenstocks.  mcneely
