I do, btw, sympathize with landowners who are faced with mobs of people who litter, run amok, make noise and otherwise prove their lack of responsibility and respect for others and the environment. But the landowners frequently treat their title as something akin to the Divine Right of Kings, and local law enforcement often sides with them. Having the local authorities involved often is a losing proposition for anyone not resident of the county in question. Or even a local resident, if the landowner happens to be in favor and the other party is not. "I don't want him here" is often all the landowner has to offer. Sheriff's on his side. Want to fight it? Go to court. mcneely
