Is the head off? If so replace with the normal tubes. For the tow piece tubes the o-rings always move. If there weren't leaking before they should be OK going back together unless you removed them and stretched them out.

I was just cleaning up my pushrod tubes, three of which are collapsible, and was wondering I should re-use the collapsible ones. The o-rings look to be in good shape, and I don't think the collapsible ones were on long before I pulled the motor. If I replace the o-rings what material should they be made of? Nitrile?
