Hi Jim,

The collapsible variety (telescoping) have two internal o-rings and a spring to provide tension, those were the o-rings I was wondering about. The nice thing about them is that they can be installed without pulling a head & are easily removed. I have new seals for the ends that came in my Reinz kit. Thanks for the tip on rejuvenating the old ones, I will be re-using some of them.
