My '87 was that clean and it was sold by a dealer in Virginia Beach and spent most of its first decade within spitting distance of the Atlantic.  West Coast Vanagon types accustomed to the rustless vehicles they know are unwilling to believe that such a thing is possible in the east. Stephen

        YIKES, that's the first time I see NO rust in that area !  Remove those rubber plugs so any moisture that gets in there will drain out !  That must be one pristine Westy !  Lucky you !
