The 86+ vans with factory A/C have 3 speed rad fans. Low and high are connected to the rad temp switches. Low is also run by the A/C on switch. Medium is run only by a high pressure switch in the A/C lines.

Medium is pretty loud, run only by A/C high pressure switch. High is real loud, run only by the rad high temp switch.
