I figure on rebuilding engine myself with minor juicing and adding the pyrometer, I don't have all the# of hp or torque yet. I love the aaz 1 wire ignition and hesitant of the tdi. Was wondering if the tdi head will work on aaz block or run straight mechnical pump on tdi to keep it easier to diagnose if any issues!

I looked carefully at finding a good diesel for my van but it was way beyond my mean$....those things are expensive and not perfect...What good is power if you have to keep one eye on the exhaust gas temp and back off the throttle when it goes too high? Just rambling here...
