I too will be installing a TF. On the "quiet" front.....

Some "upgrade" or add insulators between compressor and frame and swap in a quieter fan. From what I've seen online, none of this looks too "invasive" and they make sense, but IMO they likely void the warrantee.

FWIW, I'm doing the TF65 DC only. For not much more money, you get more room. BUT.... you have to modify your cabinet. (remove, take apart)..... yes things might crack
