Though I disagree with "it's just a car" < kidding! >

That said, and though I try to be logical, a 1.8T would be really cool. But some things to consider:

- higher price fuel per gallon - potentially harder on drivetrain (transmission mostly I guess) - *potential* turbo or oiling issues ("sludging". but I think that can happen with other engines) - sticks out by ~ 2" above deck - custom work required (or buy pre made carriers. have seen on thesamba somewhere)

So for me, with those in mind, does the swap meet my logical needs beyond turbo fun?
