Point taken! I'm a fan, and I'll be visiting Daryl soon to check out his turbo. I also live a mile from the Tec Shop and have had some conversations with them. BTW, in the '80s and 90's I sold CAD/CAM/CAE systems to Boeing parts suppliers at $100k+ per "workstation". Now folks like you have ten times the capability on a PC and can do the complex things you do for a few thousand dollars. Of course, when PCs took over that industry, I had to find another line of work!

I think it was the pallet burning for heat that prompted the "shoestring" comment! I envisioned you highly skilled folks chain sawing up pallets in the deep snow and thawing your fingers out on the stove. But that's just being frugal, and builds character. I'll bet you don't have A/C either. I'm not sure which builds more character!
