Ok the final installment of the A/C saga. After changing the hoses, drier, and expansion valve the A/C did blow kind of cool. It has pressures on the "higher" side so Im guessing that to get it back to full on cold I will have to change out the compressor. Considering that I flushed the entire system and had more than sufficient air flow through the system, eliminating the possibility of blockage/restriction, I am left with only the compressor. Fortunately its cooling off temp wise here so maybe I can just stall it until spring. Well thats it. I never found one specific "wow that fixed it" item. just an original system from 1987 that decided it was time to replace the major working components Thanks again for all the input/help. I do appreciate it,

A J
