It will not be exact. No two paints ever are, and even having the paint spectroscopically read at the time needed does not mean necessarily that it will match to everyone's eye. BTDT, though not with the camper cabinets. I have thought I could "touch up" or paint just one wall in a room by spectroscopic matching. Nope.

Recently, my house was seriously damaged by hail. The insurance company said it would pay for replacing all the damaged sections of siding and the garage door, and for painting everything on the front of the house and the west end where the damage was, including all contiguous parts, but not the east end or the back of the house, because there was no damage there. When the painters matched the paint spectroscopically at Sherwin Williams, then started painting, it was clear that it did not match. Sherwin Williams tried two more times. Then we went back to the insurance company and said the whole house would have to be painted. The insurance assessor had to come back and redo his work, then he had to agree, then the company had to agree. Finally worked out, and the company paid to paint the whole house.

Color matching does not always work out.
