Have a tendency to learn pretty quickly from my mistakes so it isn't often I repeat a dumb thing but things that have occurred twice, in spite of my best intentions:

1) drove out of the garage with the van plugged in (once tore the plug off the cord, fortunately didn't damage the receptacle!) 2) drove out of the camp site with the propane knob turned open (and one time drove all the way home that way). 3) tried to drive into the garage with the wood box in the luggage compartment (this just last weekend upon return from a long trip) didn't damage the garage or the wood box.
