This is why I asterisked the "metal" part. Not just because I enjoy using the shift key either. Though that does bring constant joy to my life. JOY.

Guess what I'm getting at, is a steel bolt might have a poor electrochemical, or whatever it's called, reaction with the engine case which is Magnesium something er other.
