I carried Bando Belts back in the 80s at Sherwood Auto Parts when I dabbled in some Jap car parts and they were a decent quality belt of the time. But a lot of VW customers were turned off by the fact that Bando came from the Far East and you know how that mind-set would be. They were OE on Nissan/Datsun, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, etc. I had them on a 72 Toyota HiLux Pickup for years, no problems.

Try it. You'll be our guinea pig Jack :)
