If it is clutch shudder or chatter from an oil disc ... I don't think they wear much at all when they're like that ...since there's no slippage, just grabbing.

don't do this at home kids , . and ...what I've done a few times is start out in 2nd or even 3rd gear and slip the hell out of the clutch .. like it takes a block from starting out to having the clutch pedal all the way engaged.

that burns some of the oil off the clutch disc ....making engagement a little smoother again .. I still have a hunch your clutch is pretty much done for anyway ... Doing that could even push it over the edge, so not really recommending it. Just fix the clutch right............. it's due................. is what it seems to me is the right thing to do.
