Hi All,


The engine is rebuilt and in the bus and running well.  Several questions.  I thought I did an adequate job of oiling the lifter before I installed them.  They are making lots of noise?  I drove the bus maybe 15 miles.  How long might it take for them to quiet down?  I think I adjusted the rockers well, and there isn't any slop.  Any thoughts?


While I was doing the rebuild I was doing some cleaning, and loosened the screws on the luggage rack.  You know where I am going...while doing the test drive the luggage rack flew up, smashed the skylight, and pretty well trashed the luggage rack.  Any thoughts where I might get one?  Nothing on Ebay or The Samba at the moment.
