By the time you are done with spacers, longer wheel bolts front, studs rear
etc. why not get wheels that fit?

If you have the alloys you could also go to a 225/70-14. Nokian makes a
wonderful tire in that size, ($$).

The Audi wheels could be a good choice. 66mm is the center bore needed and
will also keep them hub centric for the front of Syncros. Note that a
chamfered edge is also needed. Not only does the center bore have to
enlarged but it has to really remain centered as that can be the reference
(where the centering cone goes), for many balancing machines.

BTW the AR95T wheels I recently mentioned are designed for light truck
applications, 2,200 pounds/wheel up to a 32" tire.

Hi all
I know the bolt pattern for the vanagon and bay bus is 5x112.
I want to know the center bore size required to fit over the hub and dust
cap for the wheel as well.

I did pickup a set of 5x112, 15" x 7" Wide ET 45 Wheels

I also have a set of 16" Audi that are also 7" But only have 2. ET 35, Same
5x112 bolt pattern.

But both sets will Not bolt on with out the centers being opened to accept
the centers.

Let me know.
I know a shop that can do it cheaply enough but if I can at least tell them
what I want I should be good to go.

I will mount a tire on each rim and check body rub and other issues later.
