at 65, things get a little less efficient. my wife drains a full charge to just under 50% by the time she gets home (~45 miles.) so sustained cruising at 65 may get us upwards of 70-80 miles comfortably.
the challenge is the distance between current "quick charge" stations. (Tumwater, Centralia, Castle Rock, Ridgeland) where we can get 80% in about 20mins. getting to 100% after a quick charge requires a 2nd session and its slower to protect the batteries.
travel time increases, taking charge time into consideration. and conservative driving helps stretch out the travel distance on a full charge.
there's already been a documented BC2BC trip: Baja California to British Columbia ... via the current network, so it not merely a "local in town car" as a lot of people think they are.
cheers,
Fel
