<div style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 24px"><DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>Hi Volks;</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>While replacing my fan resistor, I noticed the resistor was mounted a bit off to the drivers side of the vehicle, in a puddle of water.&nbsp; There is a "pan" of sorts caused by the body&nbsp;structure of the headlight mounting area, and since it has been raining for a while, water collected there.&nbsp; Right where the resistor is mounted.&nbsp; Is this normal?&nbsp; It seems to me that mounting an electrical component where it may sit in water is unwise.&nbsp; Maybe the mount was moved by a PO.&nbsp; There is an inch or two of weld or some built up material right behind the headlight.&nbsp; Is this the original spot for the resistor?&nbsp; Inquiring minds want to know.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>BTW, who's going over to Lars Anderson's auto museum on Sunday for the Transporterfest?&nbsp; Anyone camping in Salem the night before?</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>Dave B.</FONT></DIV></div>
